Mopao Kiz - Sweden Kizomba Festival
I felt left out sometimes. The locals preferred to dance with each other. Even when there were few people.
On the main days, however, there were a lot of followers. Too many. It's great that on Sunday they tried to solve this situation with a "happy hour", but it meant that those who were already on the dance floor got to dance with different people. And many who were next to the dance floor were still waiting. This is where the dancers' ability to consider others comes into play. Not to immediately invite another leader to dance again. Give opertunati to other ladys also.
I understand that the leaders didn't want to say no and it's possible that they didn't even notice that this situation had arisen.
Otherwise, I met awesome people as usual, I was able to participate in workshops and I had opertunati to dance with people I've been waiting to dance with for over a year. If you invite the leaders to dance yourself, then there is hope for dancing.
